Soul Retrieval Training

There are moments in a person’s life when something ruptures — a loss, a trauma, a betrayal, a deep shock — and a part of the soul steps away for safety. This soul aspect doesn’t disappear; it goes into hiding. And more often than not, the part that goes missing is the exact part someone needs right now to feel whole again:
the playful child, the joyful free spirit, the intuitive young self, the wise one, the courageous one.

For years, I have guided individuals through retrieving these lost soul parts using a powerful two-hour process that includes preparation, journeying, and integration. It is profound, gentle, and life-changing.

This Soul Retrieval Training is only the 2nd time I am opening the deeper teachings behind this work — and it is only for a very small, curated group of people who are ready to hold this medicine with responsibility, groundedness, and integrity.

What You Will Learn: 

Throughout this training, you will learn how to:

  • Understand the spiritual, emotional, and energetic dynamics of soul retrieval

  • Safely guide someone through a Soul Retrieval journey

  • Connect with the “lost soul part” that is ready to return

  • Bring that soul aspect back with clarity, compassion, and integrity

  • Offer a grounded integration roadmap to support embodiment and wholeness

  • Move through your own initiations as a practitioner

This is not a quick technique. It is a sacred responsibility. You will receive the structure, tools, and energetic training needed to facilitate this work with depth and respect.

Because Soul Retrieval requires emotional maturity, internal steadiness, and prior healing work, this training is by invitation only.
I am curating a small circle (4–6 participants) who have:

  • Done significant personal healing

  • A genuine calling to hold others through deep transformation

  • A strong moral compass and devotion to this path

  • The capacity to navigate intense energetic and emotional spaces with grounded presence

If you feel this calling in your bones, you likely already know.

Understanding the Soul Retrieval Process

For context, here is the foundation you will learn to facilitate:

When trauma or overwhelm occurs, a part of the soul steps back for safety. In a Soul Retrieval session, we journey to locate that lost aspect — the inner child, the protector, the joyful one, the wise one — and gently bring them home.

Each Soul Retrieval session is two hours and includes:

  • A preparatory conversation

  • A guided soul retrieval journey

  • A clear integration plan so the person can welcome this part back into their daily life

Because of the depth of this work, Soul Retrieval is never booked casually or online. It is offered only to individuals who are emotionally ready and spiritually prepared.

 

A 4-Month Foundational Apprenticeship

Small Circle • By Invitation Only

Soul Retrieval is sacred work. It is not a method you “learn,” but a practice you embody — one rooted in presence, intuition, and deep respect for the soul.

This intimate 4-month training (limited to 4–6 participants) teaches the foundational structure of how to guide another person through a Soul Retrieval process, from preparation to journeying to reintegration.

The number four is intentional. Four is a stabilizing, foundational number found in the four directions, four elements, and four corners of the earth. Over four months, you will build your foundation layer by layer, returning to each class with more confidence, integration, and lived experience.

This is a sacred apprenticeship for those who feel called to hold this medicine with responsibility, integrity, and heart.

Training Structure: The 4-Month Journey

The training includes five live classes spanning four months, with guided practice between sessions to anchor your skills.

CLASS 1 — The Opening & Foundations

90 minutes

  • Opening circle + introductions

  • What Soul Retrieval is (and is not)

  • A foundational overview of the Soul Retrieval process

  • Time for initial questions

CLASS 2 — Deepening Into the Practice

90 minutes, held 2 weeks later

  • A deeper, step-by-step walkthrough of the Soul Retrieval process

  • How to safely guide another person

  • Trauma-sensitive considerations and ethical boundaries

  • How to recognize when a soul part is ready to return

  • Preparation for your first practice session

Participants will have 3 weeks to integrate and practice with a peer practice.

CLASS 3 — First Practice + Practitioner Development

90 minutes, held 3 weeks later

  • Students complete one Soul Retrieval practice session with a partner before this class

  • Q & A on real experiences and insights

  • Guidance on refining your journeying

  • How to create an integration plan for clients

  • Energetic hygiene + grounding for practitioners

  • Preparation for second practice session

CLASS 4 — Second Practice + Advanced Q & A

90 minutes, held 3 weeks later

  • Students complete a second Soul Retrieval practice session with a different partner

  • Advanced Q & A

  • Troubleshooting: what to do when sessions feel unclear

  • Practitioner development + next steps

FINAL CLASS — One-Month Integration Circle

90 minutes, held 1 month later

  • Final Q & A after real-life integration

  • Discussion of how the practice is evolving within you

  • Support for those who feel called to continue offering this work

Certification Upon Completion

At the end of the 4-month journey, and upon completion of the required practice soul retrievals, you will receive a SOUL RETRIEVAL PRACTIONER CERTIFICATION.

I'm Bird Mejia

Beautiful Soul, it is not an accident that you have made your way here. I am your reflection. So while this is my story, your story has many similarities. We have both struggled. And no matter what life has brought us, we still love. Your heart is like my heart. No matter how it's been hurt, your heart has survived. And so have you. Now it's your turn time to fly. It's your time to be unconditionally loved and supported and guided on your life journey. I am honored to guide you.  

When I was a young woman, I was broken in many ways. I desperately sought a wise, older woman to guide me, mentor me, show me the way. My own mother wasn't able to provide this for me, and at the young age of 23 I entered a narcissist marriage. For many years I searched for this wise woman to guide me. I never found her, so one day I decided I would become her. I wanted to one day help other women who needed her.   

While I believe my 55 years of life experience is my greatest teacher, I have earned two Master’s degrees and completed graduate work in psychotherapy. I am trained in lots of healing modalities, including Shakti Naam Yoga, breathwork, sound meditation, Reiki, Harmonyum Healing, chakra healing, the medicine ways of my indigenous Mexican ancestors, generational trauma healing and more.

I come from a lost lineage of healers and intuitives from my Mexican side, and I believe that many of us come from lineages lost to our ancient ancestral medicines. With 15 other lineages in my DNA, I am passionate about humans healing and uniting and creating a better world for us all. It is my joy to share with you what I have learned.
